Terms of Use

1. About These Terms

These terms apply when you use vastarterhub.com, operated by VA Starter Hub, a subsidiary of Next Matter Pro (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the site or downloading anything from it, you agree to them. Our Community Terms also apply when you post or take part in the community, and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle data.

2. Using the Site

You agree not to:

• break the law or help someone else do so through the site;
• try to get into accounts, systems or data you are not allowed to access;
• interfere with the site, overload it, or scrape it in a way that disrupts the service;
• use the site to spread malware, scams or misleading offers.

3. Guides Are Information, Not Advice

Our guides, tools and resources are general information for learning. They are not legal, tax, financial or immigration advice, and they do not replace advice from a qualified professional who knows your situation. We do not hire virtual assistants or place anyone in work, and nothing on the site guarantees clients, income or approval from any platform. Prices, plan limits and rules on other services change; check the source before you rely on them.

4. Accounts

Accounts on this site are for people aged 18 and older. You are responsible for activity through your account and for keeping your sign-in details private. We may suspend or close accounts as described in the Community Terms.

5. Manila Paper and Other Downloads

Manila Paper is a free PDF app made by Next Matter Pro and offered for download on this site. These points apply to it and to any other software we offer.

License

Manila Paper is licensed under the MIT License. It includes third-party components under their own licenses. The license texts and notices are included with the app. The Manila Paper name, logo and artwork are not covered by those licenses.

Your account

The app signs in with a free Next Matter Pro training account. That account is provided by Next Matter Pro under its own Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, which you accept when you create it.

Your files and your clients’ files

• The app works on files on your own computer. You are responsible for having the right to open, change and share every file you use with it.
• Before you use the app on a client’s files, make sure your client agrees and that it fits your agreement with them. When the work ends, handle their files as your agreement requires.
• Keep a copy of important files before you edit them. Software can have bugs, and edits, merges or deletions may not be reversible.

Signatures and documents

The app lets you place a typed, drawn or uploaded signature image on a PDF. It does not verify anyone’s identity. Whether a signed document is valid or enforceable depends on the law that applies and on what the people involved have agreed. Only sign documents that are yours to sign, and never sign on someone else’s behalf without their authority.

Beta software

Manila Paper is in beta. Features may change, some features may not work on every computer, and the account service may sometimes be unavailable. The app is not signed with a paid Apple or Microsoft developer certificate, so your computer may warn you the first time you open it. Download it only from our download page and check the published checksum. We are not responsible for copies obtained elsewhere.

6. Pabulong Desktop App

Pabulong is a desktop app made by Next Matter Pro that removes background noise, speaker echo and nearby voices from your microphone during calls, and can record calls if you choose. If you download it from this site, the full Pabulong Terms of Use from Next Matter Pro apply to the app, together with section 5 above. In short:

• License. Pabulong is free and open source under the MIT License; its source code is at github.com/maespela/pabulong. Its third-party components, such as the RNNoise library, are used under their own licenses, listed in the app under Settings › About › Third-Party Notices. The Pabulong name, logo and artwork are not covered by those licenses.
• Recording laws are your responsibility. We do not control or review what you record. When you record with Pabulong, you are bound by the recording laws where you are and where everyone on the call is, and you must know and follow them. Recording a private call without everyone’s consent is illegal in many places, including the Philippines and several U.S. states. Next Matter Pro and VA Starter Hub are not liable for recordings you make, to the fullest extent the law allows.
• It changes some system settings. Installing it adds a Pabulong Mic audio driver and needs an administrator password. Installing an update replaces the app and the driver, and needs the password again.
• Updates. Pabulong checks this site for new versions only when you ask it to, or once a day if you turn on automatic checks, which are off until you agree. It never installs an update without you, and it refuses any update that is not signed with our key.
• Your audio stays on your computer. The app connects to the internet only to check for and download updates. See the Pabulong Privacy Notice.

7. Our Content

The guides, text, images and design of this site belong to VA Starter Hub or its licensors. You may read, print and share links to them for personal, non-commercial use. Do not copy, republish or sell them without our written permission. Software we offer under its own license, such as Manila Paper, follows that license instead.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The site links to other websites, platforms and tools. We do not control them, and their own terms and privacy policies apply. A link is not an endorsement or a guarantee.

9. Disclaimers

The site, its content and its downloads, including Manila Paper, are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that they will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, VA Starter Hub and Next Matter Pro are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost files, data, profits, clients or income, arising from your use of the site or its downloads. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law where you live.

11. Changes and Ending Access

We may update these terms and will post the new effective date here. For significant changes we will give reasonable notice, for example on the site or by email to registered users. You can stop using the site or uninstall Manila Paper at any time. We may stop offering any feature, download or service.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, without taking away any mandatory protection you have under the law where you live.
