D. Photos and file information
A photo can contain information about what is pictured and technical metadata from the device that created it, which may include a date, device details, or location. Where our upload tools support it, we strip photo metadata before publishing. This is not guaranteed for every file or format, so remove sensitive metadata yourself and check the image before posting.
E. Advertising, analytics, and embedded content
We use or may use third-party services such as Google AdSense (ads) and analytics tools. These may collect data via cookies and similar technologies as described in Sections 8 and 9. We do not collect payment card numbers, government IDs, or bank details on this site.

5. What Is Public in the Community
The community is a public part of the internet. Your chosen public identity, posts, replies, photos, reaction counts, and the date or time of activity may be visible to anyone, including people without an account. Do not post personal information that you want to keep private.
Public community pages may be indexed by search engines, shared by other people, quoted, or saved in browser and search caches. Removing content from VA Starter Hub does not instantly remove copies already indexed or saved by others. You can ask a search provider to refresh or remove its cached result after the original content is gone.
Reports and support messages are not published as community content. We may share limited details with the person involved when needed to explain or review a moderation decision, but we do not normally reveal who submitted a report.
6. Moderation and Safety
We review reports and may use automated signals to identify spam, scams, harassment, or other rule-breaking. Moderators may view the reported content, nearby conversation, relevant account history, and technical records needed to understand what happened.
We keep proportionate moderation and audit records so we can apply rules consistently, handle appeals, prevent repeat abuse, protect users, and show that important account actions were authorized. These records can include the report, the content at the time of review, the decision, the reason, the moderator, and timestamps. They are not public.
7. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the EU/UK GDPR or the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 applies, we rely on:consent for analytics and advertising cookies or newsletters;performance of a contract for running your account, community features, and downloads; legitimate interests for securing, moderating, and improving the service; and legal obligations where the law requires us to keep or disclose information. You can withdraw consent at any time, but that does not affect processing already completed lawfully.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use essential cookies to run the site and, with your consent, functional, analytics, and advertising cookies. You control non-essential cookies through our cookie banner. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
9. Advertising and Third-Party Services
We display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and device identifiers to serve and measure ads, limit repeated ads, and — where permitted and consented — show personalized advertising based on your visits to this and other sites.
- You can control personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
- Learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- For visitors in the EEA/UK, ad consent is handled by a certified consent tool, and non-essential cookies are not used until you consent.
10. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers that help us operate, under contract:
- Hosting — Hostinger, which serves this site.
- Advertising — Google AdSense.
- Analytics — only if enabled and disclosed in this policy and our cookie controls.
- Email delivery — a service provider used only when you request email or account communications.
- The public — for community content and public profile details you choose to publish.
- Authorities or affected people — where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the service.
11. International Transfers
We and our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
12. How Long We Keep Information
We generally keep account data while your account is active and community contributions until you remove them or ask us to do so. We keep routine technical and security records only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here.
You may ask us to delete your account, posts, replies, photos, or other personal data by emailing hello@vastarterhub.com. We may first need to confirm that the account or information is yours. We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for legitimate moderation, fraud prevention, dispute handling, safety, backups, or legal compliance. For example, we may keep a record of a serious rule violation even after the public post is removed. We limit access to retained records and delete or anonymize them when the reason for keeping them ends.
13. Security
Passwords are stored as salted hashes, connections use HTTPS, and access to account data is limited. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
14. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may access, correct, export, or delete your data, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, and ask us to correct or remove a community contribution. Email hello@vastarterhub.com and we'll respond within the time required by applicable law. Some rights have legal exceptions. You may also complain to your local authority (in the Philippines, the National Privacy Commission).
15. Age Requirement
Accounts and community participation are for people aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect account or community data from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has created an account, email hello@vastarterhub.com.
16. Third-Party Links and Embedded Content
Our site may link to or embed third-party content (e.g. videos). Those providers may collect data under their own policies, which we do not control.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We'll post the new effective date here and, for significant changes, notify registered users.
